From the Bottom of My TART.


I love French cafes. My favorite one in Orange County is a place called Moulin. I love fruit tarts & I'm really working on learning to make all the things I love from scratch. Here is the result of last week's attempt. There are three major steps in putting these babies together. 1) Make cookie base 2) Make custard 3) Coat the berries in glaze. I used a cupcake/ muffin tin to hold the shape of the bases when baking. I cannot wait for the day that I have a huge kitchen and pantry where I can own and store obscure baking items like tart dishes.
